Overview

The Aotearoa Poster Competition 2020 was open for submissions from 10 August to 21 September 2020. The competition was open to all New Zealand residents aged 13 years and over with three judged and one popular vote category. At the end of September, we let entrants know whether their artwork had been shortlisted. Posters that were shortlisted were displayed on our website gallery so the public could vote (08 to 22 October) to select the winner of the Popular Vote category.

An online prize-giving event was held at the end of October. Each category winner received a $500 cash prize and their winning entry was displayed in city streets nationwide by Phantom Billstickers.
